As a longtime resident and homeowner of Clovis District 1, we need a leader who has professional work experience and most importantly, life experience. With my years of working in Law Enforcement and public service in the Planning Department, I am the most qualified candidate.
Creating safer spaces and neighborhood's by working with our law enforcement partners, management for large apartment complexes and community members to create and facilitate neighborhood watch programs that work!
To create accountability with management and the developers during and after the planning process. Often times we have affordable housing built with no accountability afterward. We've seen record numbers for police calls for service with those developments and no followup or accountability from the management.
I would like to focus on revamping our district with some beautification efforts. I would like our residents to feel as if we are truly a part of Clovis and for people to stop referring to us as the ghetto part of Clovis. We are the entryway from Fresno into Clovis, so I would like everyone to know by seeing how beautiful our streets and landscape are that would essentially distinguish us from Fresno.
